VANCOUVER, British Columbia - (April 1, 2008) - BCNET is pleased to announce the promotion of Clarence Lee as Manager of Client Services. In his new role, Clarence will be actively engaged in increasing the provincial research and education community's use of and connectivity to BC’s new 10 gigabit per second optical network. He will oversee all BCNET member needs pertaining to the use advanced networks and he will encourage local communities to peer with research and education members at BCNET’s five transit exchanges (Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Kamloops and Prince George).
Clarence has been working with BCNET for the past three years and brings extensive experience in business management and customer relationship management. His economics degree from Simon Fraser University and his five years of experience in the private sector which have enabled him to excel in client relations. His experience has been focused on assisting organizations with developing and executing their business objectives with a key focus on business development, customer service, sales, marketing, and project management.
